This set of brushes was originally traced using Photoshop paths from a Peacemaker Kurogane scan, which had a lot of blood splatters adorning the image. I first used them as shape layers in a Tsukihime wallpaper. Later, I converted them to brushes so that I could use it to add texture and ink/blood splatters with the flexibility of Photoshop's brush engine. I also found that by using multiple brushes I could use this set to make fairly good, rough marble-esque textures. I've used this brush for creating textures a lot, and it remains an interesting and more variable alternative to using photos or other stock texture images.
